Do you think registering a bunch of twitter accounts on public proxies is a wise idea? The goal is longtrem strategy and those accounts are meant to stick for years. There won't be any spam activity going on from those, but those proxies (used for registration and access) may get blacklisted at some point. I'm talking about atleast 500 accounts for start. On the other hand, private proxies gives better protection against ban, but costs are much higher. Can I safly open for example 5 accounts from one private IP without rising red flags? Nope, I don’t think using public proxies to register anything is a good idea. If you are going to do something, do it right the first time. If you are creating a twitter bot army for example (based off my Traffic Leaks thread I assume), make sure to get 500 individual IPs, and only use 1 IP per account. Don’t follow the same pattern of activity, and never mix them. Now obviously 500 IPs is going to cost, so make sure you’re activities are ‘paying their own rent’, otherwise as you scale, you’ll just continue going further into debt if something happens.
